Cabrini Foundation - Making A Donation

Cabrini Health offers vital programs and services thanks to the generosity of people like you. If you would like to make a difference in a specific area  please let us know however un restricted grant always ensures we have the flexibility to fund priority areas and respond to opportunities that arise .

Donations of $2 or more are tax deductible.

Types of giving

There are a few ways you are able to donate:

General donations

All cheques are to be made out to Cabrini Health. Receipts will include the name on the credit card or cheque. Please supply us with you contact details for receipting purposes.

Pledge Giving

Our Pledge Donor Program helps provides an easy and convenient method of making regular donations which are automatically deducted from your credit card. You will receive one tax receipt for your total annual gift at the end of each financial year. You may change the amount or cancel your term of gift at any time and it can be directed to any aspect of the hospitals work.

Memorial Giving

The Memorial Giving Program gives you the opportunity to remember special individuals with a memorial or tribute gift. A commemorative gift honours a loved one’s life and serves to reflect upon the memories that live forever. A gift made in honour of an individual recognizes a person who has had a special impact on your life.

All donations given in memory of an individual will be gratefully acknowledged by the Cabrini Foundation to the next of kin. The amount of your gift will not be disclosed.

Memorial gift envelopes

When a family requests donations in lieu of flowers at a funeral, if the funeral director does not already have a supply then envelopes can promptly be delivered to the Funeral Directors premises by calling 03 9508 1382.

Donations In Celebration

People often choose to donate to Cabrini Health in lieu of giving or receiving gifts for a birthday, anniversary or other special occasion. If you would like to support Cabrini in this way, simply notify us of the occasion details. When Cabrini receives donations, we will send a letter of thanks and a tax receipt to donors directly. If you are hosting the event, we will notify you of the donations received by Cabrini, without disclosure of individual donation amounts.

 Bequests

You can provide now for a future gift to Cabrini by remembering us your will. Your foresight and generosity helps to ensure our services continue to offer exceptional care for which we are renowned. We suggest you seek the advice of your solicitor to confirm the correct expression of intent in any existing, revised or newly created wills. As with all donations, bequests can be made to the Institute or Hospital for general purposes or for a specific area of endeavour. We would appreciate knowing if you choose to include us in your will so we may consider your wishes in our future planning. You can be assured of any discussions with us will remain confidential.

Endowments (Naming Rights)

There are opportunities for the endowment of buildings, departments and Institute University Chairs.  The Foundation Manager will be delighted to discuss the matter with you personally.

Corporate Partnerships

Cabrini Health believes it is important to form a true partnership arrangement with our corporate supporters.  We seek to work with our supporters to ensure mutual benefits to both organisations.
