What is Endoscopy?
This is an accurate investigation of the lining of the digestive tract. A gastroenterologist/gastrointestinal surgeon will use an endoscope – a long flexible tube with a tiny camera and light on the end–to illuminate the structures within the digestive tract and relays the images to a monitor.
