Emergency

Cabrini’s Emergency Department is one of the most modern private facilities in Melbourne.

Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the Department is fully equipped to deal with all types of acute presentations except road or multiple trauma, acute psychiatric and drug and alcohol related conditions.

People requiring urgent medical attention can either be brought to Emergency by ambulance, or may arrive independently.

Range of services

The Department is fully supported by Cabrini’s comprehensive range of services and they include:

Fees

A non-rebateable Facility Fee of $100 will apply to all patients who present to the Emergency Department and Fast Track Unit.  This fee is in addition to the doctor’s fee.  The doctor’s fee is partially rebateable from Medicare.
