Cabrini Institute

Attendance

Students are expected to attend all timetabled activities/tutorials and to have 100% attendance. The Faculty has determined a minimum attendance of 80% at timetabled activities as a hurdle requirement, however, 80% is not intended to represent the preferred attendance requirement. Students are expected to be at Cabrini every day during working hours at all times. Continued absence will be brought to the attention of the Clinical Dean and Monash University will be notified.

For absences in excess of three consecutive days, you are required to provide satisfactory evidence of illness or incapacity.

Students will be responsible for having each session signed off on a group timesheet by tutors to confirm their attendance as per their scheduled weekly timetable. Individual timesheets are to be handed in to the Institute Reception no later than Monday morning following completion of their three week rotation.

If a student is unable to attend a scheduled tutorial/workshop/session etc. they are to advise the clinical site administrator by email prior to, or on the day, with a valid reason to be given for their absence.

Students who are unable to attend individual sessions, e.g. consulting rooms, are expected to contact the clinician's rooms to advise them directly.
