E-mail service
- You can receive e-mail messages on admin@cabrini.com.au. On receipt these messages will be printed and promptly delivered to your room.
- If you wish to send outgoing e-mail messages, please contact the Communications Centre on Ext. 99.
Facsimile service
- You can receive facsimile messages on 9508 1098 (24 hours) which the Communications Centre will deliver to your room.
- Outgoing fax messages can be passed on to nursing staff for transmission.
- Mail will be brought to your room daily.
- Postage stamps, stationery and cards are available for purchase from the Gift Shop (main foyer).
- Stamped outgoing mail can be given to nursing staff.
- Mail received after your discharge will be forwarded to your home address.
Telephone calls
- Each bed is provided with a telephone (except high dependency areas). Local calls are free of charge.
- Your family and friends may contact you by calling 9508 1222 and asking for you by name, or by dialling ‘9508’ and then the four digit extension number listed on your telephone.
- Directory assistance and telephone faults: Ext. 99
- Local calls (Melbourne metropolitan area only): Tel: ‘0’ + number
- STD, IDD and mobile telephone calls: Ext. 99 for connection.
- Telephone operators are available 24 hours a day to assist with information and call connection.
- Public telephones are situated throughout the Hospital for the use of visitors and relatives.
Computers
You are welcome to use your laptop computer. Connection to the Internet is possible through the telephone line in your room. Please call Ext. 1672 for information and connection.
Television
Satellite TV, Chapel Services, Hospital information and general programs are available through your television set.
Magazines & newspapers
- A newsagent trolley will be brought to you daily with newspapers and magazines for purchase.
- Magazines and newspapers are also available from the Terrace Café.
