Dr Karen Taylor

I am a radiation oncologist specialising in the management of breast cancer with radiotherapy. My special interests include optimising dose and delivery of breast radiotherapy using deep inspiration breath hold, intensity modulated radiotherapy, surface guided and no tattoo techniques.

I am based at Cabrini Malvern and provide consultation services at Cabrini Brighton and Cabrini Prahran.

I initially trained as a physician and clinical oncologist in the UK. I came to Australia in 1997 and completed radiation oncology training in Melbourne in 1999. I worked at the William Buckland Radiotherapy Centre, Alfred Hospital for more than 20 years. I am a member of TROG, ASBD, ANZBCTG, ESTRO and IBCSG. I am also an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Monash University.
