I am an Australian and internationally trained orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in surgery of the knee and hip. I received my medical degree from Monash University and completed my specialist orthopaedic training with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2016. I undertook a 12-month fellowship at the prestigious Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic in Ontario, Canada specialising in sports knee surgery. During this time I treated many elite athletes and developed advanced surgical skills, particularly in the management of ACL injuries. I also spent 3 months visiting centres of excellence in Europe and the USA to gain further experience in knee and hip arthroplasty including anterior minimally invasive THR.
I have published multiple papers related to sports knee surgery and speak regularly at local and international meetings. I am passionate about teaching University of Melbourne students and advanced orthopaedic trainees through my public appointment at Western Health.
