Dr Daevyd Rodda

I am an orthopaedic surgeon specialising in anterior minimally invasive total hip replacement surgery. I perform primary hip replacement surgery and revision hip replacement surgery, both using the anterior approach.

The primary focus for me and my team is delivering the highest quality surgical results with a caring and compassionate approach. 

I graduated from Monash University in 2004 and trained in the field of orthopaedics at some of the most prestigious hospitals in Melbourne. During this time, I was awarded an honorary fellowship at the University of Melbourne Department of Anatomy. I received my Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Australian Orthopaedic Association in 2015. I also completed additional post-fellowship training in various centres of excellence throughout Australia, Europe and North America, with a special focus on joint replacement surgery of the lower limb and sports knee injuries.

I teach anterior approach hip replacement to other surgeons throughout Australia, and I am actively involved in charity work in the indigenous community through the Sporting Chance Foundation.
