About our open access endoscopy service

This open access service offers cost effective endoscopy procedures to privately insured patients with a direct referral from a GP. The service is available to all patients between 18 and 74 years of age who are in good health without the need of a pre-procedure consultation. Please ensure that the GP referral clearly outlines the reasons for requesting the procedure.

Patients can expect a gap-free service that includes the procedure, anesthetic services, pathology and medical imaging required on the day. Please note that some excess or co-payments may apply depending on your private health insurance cover.
