Created by our lactation specialists, this class is designed to educate and empower parents planning to breastfeed their newborn. Included in the class are the 10 steps to successful breastfeeding, the benefits of breastfeeding and skin to skin contact, the golden hour and recognising your newborn’s hunger cues. Topics also covered include effective attachment and latching techniques, breastfeeding positions and managing common breastfeeding challenges.

It is recommended to attend this class together with our Baby and Beyond session.
