A/Prof Marinis Pirpiris

I am an orthopaedic surgeon specialising in the arthroscopic treatment of conditions affecting the hip, knee, ankle and shoulder. I also perform joint replacements in patients with hip, knee and shoulder arthritis.

My sub-specialist interests include the treatment of sports injuries, and the management of arthritis and dysplasia.

My orthopaedic training was completed in Victoria and I have also undergone post-fellowship training in Oxford in the UK and a number of leading centres in the United States.

I am currently involved in research into the repair and replacement of bone, ligaments and cartilage using cartilage grafting.
