Dr Adam Scott-Charlton
Rheumatologist
I am a rheumatologist at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne and with the Melbourne Rheumatology Group, with a particular focus on the diagnosis and management of immune-mediated inflammatory diseases. My clinical interests include systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), vasculitis, myositis and autoinflammatory diseases, including crystal arthropathies.
I also provide comprehensive assessment and management of inflammatory arthritis, osteoarthritis and other common musculoskeletal conditions.
Alongside my clinical practice, I have a strong research interest in novel immunotherapeutic strategies and emerging treatments for immune-mediated inflammatory diseases. I am actively involved in collaborative clinical research aimed at improving the safety of immunosuppressive therapies, including infection prevention, vaccination and the management of treatment-related complications.
