Dr Allya Makhijani

I am a general paediatrician with experience and training in managing patients of all ages, with special interests in acute paediatric care. My passion and focus is to provide holistic health care and education for parents and families to help them understand their child’s illness and empower them to be an advocate for the care of their child.

I have completed my training in General Paediatrics through the Royal Children’s Hospital and I am still currently completing training in Paediatric Emergency Medicine. In addition to my work at Cabrini, I am a general paediatrician at Eastern Health and work in clinical medical education with Monash and Deakin University.

Outside of my clinical role, I am a mum of 2 little girls who keep me very busy!
