I am a paediatric respiratory and sleep physician, working actively in both Sleep Disorders Medicine as well as Respiratory Medicine. I see patients aged 0-18 years with all kinds of sleep disorders including obstructive sleep apnoea, narcolepsy and the hypersomnia’s, behavioural sleep disorders, periodic limb movement disorder and children requiring respiratory support during sleep. I manage complex respiratory conditions including chronic bronchitis and the suppurative lung diseases, difficult asthma, complex airway disorders and restrictive lung diseases such as neuromuscular disorders which may require ventilation during sleep.

I consult at the Sleep Unit at Cabrini Brighton and externally at the Melbourne Children’s Clinic in Camberwell and at the Victorian Children’s Clinic in Malvern.

I am an active member of the RACP, TSANZ (Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand), and the ASA (Australasian Sleep Association). I am the current Clinical Lead in Sleep Medicine and Director of the Sleep Unit at the Royal Children’s Hospital. I am also the Paediatric Clinical Lead in Sleep at the Cabrini Brighton Sleep Unit. I have Honorary appointments at the Victorian Respiratory Support Service at the Austin Hospital as well as the University of Melbourne, Department of Paediatrics and the Murdoch Clinical Research Institute. I present regularly at national and international conferences, and I’m involved in multiple research projects.
