Dr Amanda Ward

I provide holistic, patient-centred care for women with gynaecological conditions including abnormal periods, endometriosis, pelvic pain, polycystic ovarian syndrome, the investigation of infertility, the follow-up of abnormal cervical screening and the management of the symptoms of menopause. At each stage of the reproductive journey, I am focused on empowering women through education and patient-centred care. Within my obstetric practice, I am skilled in the management of complex vaginal births, including vaginal birth after caesarean (VBAC), breech and twin deliveries. I am also able to care for patients who are of higher risk due to pre-existing medical, surgical and mental health conditions, fetal anomalies and pregnancy complications.

Having had three children, I am well aware of the joys and challenges that pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period can hold. I am committed to providing women with personalised and holistic care, in combination with education and support in order to partner with women and their families through this life-changing journey.
