Dr Anisha Sarkar

I am a general gynaecologist with a special interest in paediatric and adolescent gynaecology.

I completed specialist training at The Royal Women’s Hospital and Mercy Hospital for Women, followed by a fellowship in Paedatric and Adolescent Gynaecology at The Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne.

I provide comprehensive care for a wide range of gynaecological conditions, including menstrual disorders, abnormal uterine bleeding, cervical screening abnormalities and colposcopy, and minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery for benign conditions such as ovarian cysts, pelvic pain, endometriosis and hysterectomy. I believe in taking the time to understand each patient as an individual work collaboratively to develop personalised treatment plans that achieve the best possible outcomes.

I hold a consultant appointment at The Royal Children’s Hospital, Th Royal Women’s Hospital and Eastern Health and I am actively involved in teaching, research and advancing evidence-based gynaecological care for patients of all ages.
