Dr Athina Pirpiris

I am a urologist specialising in all aspects of male and female urinary incontinence, including pelvic floor ultrasound imaging, urodynamics as well as conservative and surgical options. I also manage all lower urinary tract symptoms, pelvic floor dysfunction and prolapse.

I am an Australian trained urologist and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. I have completed fellowships in functional urology, as well as robotic surgery.

I have published widely and presented both locally and internationally. My PhD is reviewing the role of pelvic floor ultrasound and pelvic floor contractions in the management of stress urinary incontinence post radical prostatectomy.
