Dr Caroline Lloyd

I am a GP with special interest in mental health and the treatment of trauma which has become the ongoing focus of my work. I am an experienced EMDR trauma therapist and have also done further training in schema therapy (ST), ego state (parts) therapy and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).

Following my passion for assisting my clients with their mental health as a GP, I completed a Master of Counselling at Monash University in 2019.

My interest in eating disorders came about from my involvement with the Centre for Bariatric Surgery in Glen Iris where I have been assisting clients with disordered eating behaviour for over 10 years. I have a thorough understanding of the complex needs of clients with bulimia, compulsive eating and other eating disorders (except anorexia as this is an even more specialised field sometimes requiring hospital admission).
