Dr Fay Chao

I am an Australian trained and accredited gynaecologist and urogynaecologist.

I am adept in pelvic reconstructive surgery both via a vaginal and laparoscopic approach, and with or without use of mesh. I am also trained in performing and interpreting urodynamics (bladder function test) and in performing multiple types of sling surgery for the management of urinary incontinence. Aside from my area of subspecialty, I also practices general gynaecology.

I obtained my fellowship (FRANZCOG) in 2009 and Certificate of Urogynaecology (CU) from RANZCOG in 2012. During my subspecialty training, I gained invaluable experience in the management of pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence.
