Dr Haider Najjar

I am a highly experienced gynaecologist specialising in the medical and surgical management of endometriosis, uterine fibroids, heavy menstrual bleeding and prolapse. I perform laparoscopy and hysterectomy surgery using single incision (keyhole) technique ensuring faster recovery for my patients.

I completed my obstetrics and gynaecology training at Monash Medical Centre and obtained a Fellowship in advanced Laparoscopic and Minimally Invasive surgery. I received the Young Scientists Award from the International Menopause Society for my research into Premature Menopause and was awarded the Travelling Fellowship by the Australian Gynaecology Endoscopic Society for my work conducting laparoscopic training workshops for registrars.

I have worked at Monash Health service for more than 20 years and have been a consultant for over 15 years. My private practice is based at Mount Waverley, but I consult at Malvern, Berwick and Maryvale.
