Dr Jessica Wade

I am a specialist Gynaecologist, and I am committed to ensuring my patients feel supported, empowered and heard throughout their healthcare journey.

I have completed a prestigious two-year AGES fellowship in advanced laparoscopic (key-hole) surgery, with a focus on the surgical management of endometriosis.
I completed my obstetrics and gynaecology training at the Royal Women’s Hospital, Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s, Sunshine Hospital, Ballarat Base Hospital and Obstetrics and Gynaecology Ballarat. My clinical interests include general gynaecology, endometriosis, fibroids, PCOS, prolapse, incontinence and colposcopy for abnormal cervical screening tests.

Teaching and mentoring are also important aspects of my practice. I enjoy sharing her knowledge with medical students and junior doctors, helping to grow the next generation of women’s health specialists.

I provide care in a warm and compassionate manner, with the aim of allowing every patient to feel comfortable, informed and actively involved in decisions about their care.
