I am an academic consultant colorectal surgeon with a specialist interest in all colorectal conditions such as haemorrhoids, perianal fistula, pilonidal disease, inflammatory bowel disease, peritoneal cancer, small bowel cancer, colorectal cancer (primary or recurrent), hernias, gastroscopy and colonoscopy. I completed my FRACS in 2014 through St. Vincent’s Hospital, before undertaking a PhD in colorectal cancer immunology at Peter MacCallum Cancer Center. This was followed by a two-year post-FRACS fellowship training in colorectal surgery through CSSANZ at Princess Alexander Hospital, Brisbane and Alfred Hospital, Melbourne. I then went onto a third fellowship in Advanced Colon and Rectal Cancer Fellowship on robotic surgery at MD Anderson Cancer Centre, Houston, Texas.

I am an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Monash University and continue to have an active role in academia including education, teaching, quality assurance and translational research in colorectal cancer immunology. I have authored over 85 peer reviewed publications and three book chapters.
