Dr Kenneth Shum

I specialise in treating patients experiencing pain across a broad spectrum, with specialty interests in post-operative pain, geriatric pain, widespread and regional pain syndromes, and post-injury rehabilitation. My work involves integrating medical expertise and allied health services to establish models for persistent pain services within private care settings. As part of my commitment to education, I actively supervise trainees and fellows in pain medicine and rehabilitation medicine throughout their specialist training programs.

In 2005, I completed my medical training at Monash University and hold dual qualifications as a physician in Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine. Currently, I operate in private practice and consult with inpatients at Cabrini Health.

Beyond my professional life, guiding my two children towards a future in professional athletics brings me great joy.
