Mr Matthew Farag

I am a Melbourne-trained Consultant Urologist and Robotic Surgeon with qualifications including FRACS (Urology), Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Diploma of Anatomy, from the University of Melbourne.

I provide comprehensive urological care for men and women, with a particular interest in minimally invasive and robotic surgery. My clinical interests include urological cancer, prostate disease, kidney and bladder conditions, kidney stones and general urology. I have a strong interest in modern surgical techniques that can improve recovery and patient outcomes, including robotic surgery and minimally invasive treatment of prostate enlargement and stone disease. I combine my clinical practice with an ongoing commitment to research and education, and aim to provide care that is evidence-based, personalised and centred around clear communication with patients and their families.
