Dr Michael Mond

I am an endocrinologist with a special interest in the management of thyroid conditions including thyroid nodules and thyroid cancer. I also manage a broad range of endocrine conditions including diabetes, osteoporosis, adrenal and pituitary disorders.

I completed my specialist training at Monash Health and subsequently undertook a PhD at Prince Henry’s Institute of Medical Research (now Hudson Institute) investigating the role of genetic and molecular changes in the development and progression of thyroid tumours. I co-lead the Multidisciplinary Thyroid Clinic at Monash Health and am a lead endocrinologist in the Thyroid Clinic at Eastern Health. I chair multidisciplinary thyroid cancer meetings at both sites.

I consult privately at Cabrini Hospital as well as at Monash Medical Centre and in East Bentleigh.
