Dr Ricky Arenson

As an experienced and compassionate adult endocrinologist, I specialise in general endocrinology, osteoporosis, diabetes, and thyroid disease. My dedication to patient care extends to both inpatient services at Cabrini Malvern and Cabrini Brighton.

My journey in medicine began with clinical training in Western Australia, where I honed my skills over a decade as the Head of the Murdock Diabetes and Endocrinology Centre and Head of Geriatric Medicine at Royal Perth Hospital. Throughout my career, I’ve been recognised for my contributions, receiving accolades such as the WA Clinical Educator of the Year, an outstanding lifetime service award from RPH, a WA Hero of COVID award, and an East Metro Health Innovation award.

In addition to my clinical work, I’ve taken on leadership roles, serving as Chair of the RPH Clinical Staff Association Chair of the AMA WA Public Hospital Doctors, and Director of Consultant Leadership and Mentoring. These positions have allowed me to further support and advocate for both patients and healthcare professionals alike.

With a passion for improving patient outcomes, I strive to provide comprehensive and personalised care to each individual I have the privilege of treating.
