Dr Sarah Birks

I am a general surgeon, specialising in breast and endocrine surgery and provide the most up to date and evidence based care to achieve the best outcome for my patients.

I work closely with other specialists and multidisciplinary teams in the management of both breast and endocrine disorders.

I graduated from Monash University with Honours and completed general surgical training in Melbourne. I have completed a Master of Surgery, with an ongoing interest in education and research.

I am a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and have undertaken several years of post-fellowship specialty training in both endocrine and breast cancer surgery, completing the BreastSurgANZ Post Fellowship Training Program and extra training in oncoplastic breast surgery.
