I am a cardiothoracic surgeon with particular interest in mitral valve repair, aortic and tricuspid valve surgery, as well as surgery on ascending aorta and aortic root.

For coronary artery bypass surgery I use arterial revascularisation whenever possible to maximise the long term patency of the grafts.

In thoracic surgery I utilise the minimally invasive approach (including thoracoscopic lobectomies and pneumonectomies). It reduces postoperative pain and length of stay for my patients.

I obtained my experience in complex valve operations during my Clinical Fellowship in the United Kingdom and Canada.
