Dr Simon Li

I am a neurologist who provides a comprehensive service including neurology consultations (inpatient and outpatient), clinical neurophysiology (nerve conduction studies and EMG as part of neuromuscular diseases assessment) and epilepsy management (diagnosis, medical therapy, surgical assessment, EEG, prolonged video EEG monitoring).

My main focus at Cabrini Health is clinical neurophysiology service performing nerve conduction studies and EMG for the diagnosis of focal entrapment neuropathies, peripheral neuropathy, plexopathy, radiculopathy and other neuromuscular diseases. I also provide access to neuro-rehabilitation services co-managed with rheumatologists, geriatricians, rehab physicians and pain specialists.

I undertook my previous training at University of Melbourne, St Vincent’s Hospital Clinical School, physician and neurology training at Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) and Monash Medical Centre before undertaking clinical fellowships in Neurophysiology and Epilepsy at RMH under the mentorship of A/Prof Tim Day and Prof Terence O’Brien.
