Dr Dhanushi Fernando

I am a dedicated gynaecologist consultant committed to providing personalised and compassionate care for women’s health needs.

Having obtained my MBBS/BMedSci (Hons) from Monash University, I pursued further education, completing my FRANZCOG at Monash Health and Royal Hobart Hospital. Additionally, I hold Masters degrees in Reproductive Medicine and Women’s Health from the University of New South Wales.

With extensive training, including Fellowships at Monash Health and The Royal Women’s Hospital, my practice extends to general gynaecology, catering to all ages, with services encompassing adolescent gynaecology, menopause management, PCOS, pelvic pain, endometriosis, abnormal bleeding, ovarian cysts, and cervical screening test management. My approach is supportive, informed by the latest research, and tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
