Dr Izzie Ling

I am a consultant rheumatologist.

I completed my medical education at Zhengzhou University in Henan, China. I undertook extensive specialist raining across major Australian healthcare centers. My clinical background spans Eastern health, Royal Hobart Hospital, Royal Perth and Fiona Stanley Hospitals.

As a general rheumatologist, my core areas of interest include inflammatory arthritis, crystal arthropathy, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), and other connective tissue diseases. I have deep subspecialty experience in dedicated clinics for scleroderma, myositis, and vasculitis. Notably, I trained in one of Australia’s first Fast Track GCA (Giant Cell Arteritis) clinics and have been actively involved in ultrasound-based research in this area.

I am fluent in Mandarin and bring a strong understanding of Asian cultural backgrounds, allowing me to provide inclusive, patient-centered care and clear communication with diverse patient populations and referring GPs.
