Mr Nathan White

I am a subspecialty trained orthopaedic surgeon, with an interest in surgery of the knee across all ages. This includes arthroscopic and sports injury surgery such as ACL reconstruction, joint preserving surgery including realignment, meniscal and cartilage surgery, and routine or complex joint replacement surgery, including robotics.

I first worked as a physiotherapist, and this still has a major influence on my practice. After surgical training, I spent further time overseas training in all areas of knee surgery. This included London, UK, working with elite athletes including premier league players, and Lyon, France, with an emphasis on complex knee replacement and robotic surgery. I have published several papers on knee surgery, and contributed to book chapters including the management of knee injuries in elite soccer, return to play after knee injury, and robotic knee surgery.

I am a member of several associations including the Australian Knee Society, the European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery & Arthroscopy (ESSKA), and the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS).
