I am an specialist Vascular/ Endovascular surgeon (FRACS) with wide experience in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of the full spectrum of arterial and venous disease.

This includes carotid artery disease, thoracic outlet syndromes, aortic and other aneurysms, peripheral vascular disease (arm and leg artery blockages), needing angioplasty/stents and bypass surgery, dialysis access, renal transplantation, diabetic feet, popliteal artery entrapment as well as deep vein thrombosis and varicose veins including laser/radiofrequency ablation and sclerotherapy.

If operative intervention is appropriate then the latest minimally invasive techniques are used, in combination with traditional surgical techniques, to tailor an individualised approach.

Collaboration is undertaken with medical and surgical colleagues including for complex combined cases where vascular surgical input is required, including Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics, ENT, Cardiothoracics, Urology, Plastics, Gynaecology and General Surgery.

I also train and teach medical students and surgical registrars and lecture/examine at the Diploma of Surgical Anatomy (Melbourne University / Royal Australasian College of Surgeon).
