Mr Rodney Richardson

I am an Australian trained orthopaedic surgeon who specialises in adult reconstructive and joint replacement surgery of the knee and hip. I specialise in computer guided total knee replacement, unicompartmental knee replacement, anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, knee arthroscopy, patellofemoral stabilisation and total hip replacement. I am also highly experienced to deal with all sporting injuries and arthritic problems of the knee.

After completing my orthopaedic training in Australia, I went on to complete my fellowship training in knee surgery both nationally and internationally in Europe. I remain committed to improving education and training in orthopaedic surgery. I am a regular faculty participant in training surgeons on hip and knee replacement within Australia. I also regularly operate and demonstrate internationally on the techniques of computer navigated knee replacement. I have a strong interest in improving prosthetic design and hold a number of internationally recognised patents in the art of orthopaedics.
