Prof Gary Richardson OAM

I am an academic medical oncologist treating gynaecological, gastro-intestinal, breast and lung cancers. I am also in charge of the clinical trials program and translational research at Cabrini.

I am the Director of the Cabrini Institute Research & Education, the Szalmuk Family Department of Medical Oncology and Oncology Clinics Victoria. I initiated and developed clinical research in haematology and oncology at Cabrini Health. I personally act as principal investigator in many clinical studies in lung and gynaecological malignancy, as well as development of novel compounds for the treatment of cancer (Phase I trial program).

I am also a Professor of Medicine at Monash University. I am past Chairman of the Medical Oncology Group of Australia and past President of the Private Cancer Physicians of Australia.
