Cabrini Care Packages

Self-Funded Surgery is a way of accessing surgery outside of public waitlists, by paying for the surgery yourself. You might choose to self-fund your surgery if you don’t have private health insurance, want to speed up your surgery, choose which surgeon you see or would prefer to stay in a private hospital. We welcome all kinds of patients and offer self-funded surgeries for most standard procedures.

Cabrini Care Packages are set, transparent costings for some of our most common self-funded surgeries. They are designed to help you immediately understand what is involved in self-funding a procedure. We support these through our concierge team who can help you understand your costs and payment options, connect you to a treating doctor and ensure you are able top navigate your surgical booking as quickly and easily as possible.

Surgeon and anaesthetist fees are set by the specialist and therefore not included in the Cabrini Care Package. You can discuss these costs with your specialist to better understand out-of-pocket requirements.

Self-funded surgery via a Cabrini Care Package is a simple way to access the care you need, when you need it. Simply submit an enquiry about the Package that meets your needs or call us to discuss self-funding a different procedure that is not currently covered by a Cabrini Care Package.

Self-funding your surgery through a private hospital like Cabrini can give you greater control over who performs your surgery and when. When you choose to self-fund your surgery you are given the same service as Private patients, even though you may not currently be covered by Private insurance. This means you can choose the surgeon who has the earliest availability or who you would prefer to treat you.

Simply call or send an enquiry to our Cabrini Concierge team and they can help get to scheduled in with a preferred surgeon as a Care Package patient.

We offer both packaged and non-packaged self-funded surgeries. Each packaged procedure – under a Cabrini Care Package- has a set of fixed costs( plus surgeon/anaesthetists’ fees), while non-packaged procedures need to be individually quoted. Our aim is to ensure surgeries are as accessible as possible so we support you in understanding your costs as well as support a variety of payment options.

Our aim is to help you get on your way to recovery sooner so, while various procedures can be scheduled sooner than others, we will work with you to find the earliest appropriate booking for your self-funded surgery.
