Biography
Dr Jessica Wade is a specialist Gynaecologist, and is committed to ensuring her patients feel supported, empowered and heard throughout their healthcare journey.
Dr Wade has completed a prestigious two-year AGES fellowship in advanced laparoscopic surgery, with a focus on the surgical management of endometriosis.
Dr Wade completed her obstetrics and gynaecology training at the Royal Women’s Hospital, Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s, Sunshine Hospital, Ballarat Base Hospital and Obstetrics and Gynaecology Ballarat. Her clinical interests include general gynaecology, endometriosis, fibroids, PCOS, prolapse, incontinence and colposcopy for abnormal cervical screening tests.
Teaching and mentoring are also important aspects of Dr Wade’s practice. She enjoys sharing her knowledge with medical students and junior doctors, helping to grow the next generation of women’s health specialists.
Dr Wade provides care in a warm and compassionate manner, with the aim of allowing every patient to feel comfortable, informed and actively involved in decisions about their care.
