Short bio

Mr Minoo Patel is an adult and paediatric orthopaedic surgeon specialising in shoulder, elbow, and wrist surgery as well as arthroscopy, joint replacement, sports medicine, and trauma (fractures, non-unions, complex trauma, and infection). Minoo also performs upper limb reconstruction surgery including limb lengthening and deformity correction.

Minoo is an Adjunct Professor at RMIT University, a Senior Lecturer at Monash University, and an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne.

Minoo is the past Chair of the Australian Orthopaedic Association Research Foundation. He is the Associate Editor of the International Journal of Limb Lengthening and Reconstruction, the Section Editor for shoulder and elbow at the Indian Journal of Orthopaedics and Section Editor for upper limb at the Journal of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine.
