Dr Natasha Ching

I am a General Paediatrician and Paediatric Infectious Diseases Physician who aims to provide compassionate, comprehensive care. With a passion for child development, infectious diseases, and holistic, family-centered support, I take a collaborative approach to help children thrive.

After graduating with honors in Medicine and Medical Sciences from Monash University, I completed my paediatric training at Monash Children’s and the Royal Children’s Hospitals, gaining extensive experience across rural and metropolitan settings. I have served as Chief Resident Medical Officer and remain actively involved in mentoring and educating healthcare professionals.

I have a particular passion for supporting neurodivergent children and adolescents, especially those who are twice exceptional (2E). My special interests also include early childhood mental health, responsive parenting, and the Montessori education philosophy. As a mother of two, I integrate both professional expertise and personal experience to provide thoughtful, individualized care that empowers families and nurtures children’s potential.

I welcome all general paediatric and infectious diseases referrals; however, I do not provide vaccination services. I consult exclusively at Empower Paediatrics at Cabrini Malvern.”
