I am a fellowship-trained specialist in vitreoretinal surgery and medical retina. My areas of interest include retinal detachment, macular surgery, diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, and complex cataract surgery, including scleral-fixated intraocular lenses and iris repair.

I completed my ophthalmology training at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, followed by advanced Vitreoretinal Fellowships in Perth and Melbourne, with further subspecialty training in New York, London, and Oxford. I currently hold consultant appointments at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, Monash Health, and the Royal Children’s Hospital, and remain actively involved in teaching and research.

I see surgical care not only as a technical craft but also as a responsibility to guide and support patients through uncertainty—with clarity, empathy, and their best interests at heart.

I perform vitreoretinal surgery at Cabrini and am available for surgical emergencies by referral.
