Dr Shaun Ho

I am an experienced paediatric gastroenterologist who specialises in all aspects of the children’s digestive system, liver and nutrition.

I completed my medical degree at Monash University and went on to specialise in Paediatric Gastroenterology and General Paediatrics, trained at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide and The Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. I also spent time overseas completing a Clinical Gastroenterology Fellowship at the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto. My clinical and research interests include coeliac disease and inflammatory bowel disease. These interests led me to undertake a research degree at the University of Otago in New Zealand, where I was awarded a PhD in 2022.

I currently work as a consultant paediatric gastroenterologist at The Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne. Alongside my clinical role, I remain actively involved in research through the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute (MCRI).
