Mr Tom Clarnette

I graduated from the University of Adelaide Medical School in 1988, before completing my surgical training in both South Australia and Victoria. At the conclusion of my paediatric surgical training, I undertook post fellowship training in the United Kingdom. This included 18 months at King’s College Hospital, London. specialising in hepatobiliary surgery in children, which is key area of interest.

I am a respected and experienced paediatric surgeon who consults and operates publicly at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Monash Children’s Hospital, Sunshine Hospital, and the Goulburn Valley Hospital in Shepparton.

I also have a private list at Cabrini Hospital, Malvern where I provide expertise in procedures such as orchidopexy, repair of umbilical and epigastric hernias, and repair of hydrocele. I hold a position as a consultant surgeon at the Department of Paediatric and Neonatal Surgery at The Royal Children’s Hospital since 2004.
