Following notification from the Victorian Department of Health earlier today, we wish to advise that Cabrini Malvern Emergency Department and Terrace Café have been identified as measles exposure sites.

The exposure occurred on Thursday, 19 February at:

• The Emergency Department between 1.20 pm and 10.05 pm, and
• The Terrace Café between 1 pm to 1.50 pm, and 5.15 pm to 6.21 pm

If you visited our Emergency Department, Terrace Café, or communal areas during this time, please monitor for symptoms. Symptoms can present for up to 18 days after exposure.

Seek urgent medical care if symptoms develop and please call ahead to the healthcare provider before your attendance to alert staff of your symptoms.

We have started our contact tracing process and will notify patients and staff identified as being at high risk of exposure.
